U.S. Patent Office Awards TrialCard Inc. With Two Pharmaceutical Product Sampling Technology Patents.
TrialCard's "IA Technology" Reduces Sampling Liability, Provides Actionable ROI Data And Improves Persistency And Compliance Tracking.
Raleigh, NC May 27, 2002 TrialCard Inc., a privately held transaction services company, announced today that it has been awarded a second patent on its method and system for dispensing, tracking and managing pharmaceutical trial products.
TrialCard's patented sampling program technology has been integrated into a series of national drug sampling programs from the leading pharmaceutical companies.
The initial patent (awarded Q4 1998) entails a system and method for dispensing, managing and tracking the distribution of pharmaceutical trial or sample products by linking medical prescribers and pharmacies to a central computing station.
This second patent significantly expands on the claims of the first patent awarded in 1998 and provides critical intellectual property protection in the U.S. and worldwide says David Cunningham, TrialCard CEO and the patent holder.
TrialCard's exclusive IA Technology captures real time ROI sampling data from all points of contact (reps, physicians, patients, pharmacists), thus enabling pharmaceutical companies to effectively measure cause and effect relationships. Moreover, TrialCard powered programs can be activated or deactivated at any point in the sampling process.
